On Having a Body

A story of radical self-love, a mindful embrace of one's physical existence tied to an embodiment of female biology — in a culture laced with the hatred of the female body.

'I am not fighting to make myself small and invisible any longer. I am fighting to make myself bright and radiant.'

This is a personal documentation of what it feels like to seek peace with this very real, at times unruly body, of coming home to the deep shelter of our bones.

The transcribed diary can be downloaded and read in its full form as a free e-book, which I've published with my small press newways in 2021.
